It was centrally located, where Cologne Chocolate Museum is easily reachable. Moreover, it was short walk to Cologne cathedral, many good restaurants and the harbour and chocolate museum which are across the main road.

Big and quite rooms, free sauna for guests, good location. Friendly staff, very clean.
Free WiFi in the rooms but only wired. Very expensive breakfast. Lack of information about hotel facilities [for example not a single word about the sauna] and the hotel itself. Expensive minibar. No coffee/tea facilities in the room. Far too soft beds. Only two English channels to watch [bbc and cnn], the whole rest in German.
